A portfolio-style website that's powered by an easy to use Content Management System that I designed from the ground-up.
A high-end firm of architects based in Farnham, Surrey whose projects include the redesign and restructure of large residential and commercial buildings costing multi-millions of pounds.
I was introduced to this firm by a local design agency who were already working with the partners for the design of their new logo and literature.
The client needed a website that would better reflect the company and their customers. Not only did they want to be able to convey the extent of their prestige projects online, once the website was setup, they wanted to be able to control and manage everything themselves.
The lead designer worked with the client for several months on the design and when it was finally approved and handed over to me to build, I turned to the CodeIgniter framework and started coding.
Although it was designed in 2011 and built in 2012, the simplicity of the layout still looks great today.
The portfolio page is not over-complicated. A user simply selects a project to view an extended description with an associated image gallery.
Every CMS I build comes with a secure and easy-to-use administration area where the client can login and manage the website. This site was no different.
You can visit the live site here ...
The client website is hosted by a third-party company and will open in a new browser window.
If you're looking for an experienced web developer to join your project, or if something on this site has taken your interest, please get in touch. It costs nothing to talk and who knows, it might be the best thing you do today.
